Daily Word Game — Make Words from Seven Letters
Keystone is a daily word-finding game in the spelling-bee style: you get seven letters, and one of them — the gold keystone letter — has to appear in every word you make. Words are four letters or longer, letters can repeat as often as you like, and somewhere in every puzzle hides at least one word that uses all seven letters at once.
There's no timer and no guess limit. You find words at your own pace, watch the points stack up, and bank the day whenever you're satisfied — the ace bar tells you what a genuinely good haul looks like for that day's letters. Some days the letters are generous and the words pour out; some days one stubborn letter makes every word feel like a small victory. That's the game.
▶ Play today’s KeystoneHow the daily Keystone works
1.Read the rack
Seven letters, one of them gold. The gold one is the keystone: every word you submit must contain it at least once. The other six are optional — but a word may only use today's seven letters, repeated as often as you like.
2.Type words, four letters and up
Type or tap letters and hit GO. A four-letter word is worth 1 point; longer words are worth their length — five letters for 5, eight letters for 8. Find a word that uses all seven letters and it's worth its length plus a 7-point bonus.
3.Bank the day
When you're done hunting, tap “Done for today” to bank your points. Reach the day's ace bar and you get the clean green result; any words at all still complete the day in yellow. The full word list is revealed at the end — including everything you didn't find.
Tips
- Start with the keystone letter and build outward — prefixes and suffixes like RE-, -ING and -ER turn one found word into three.
- Found a five-letter word? Check whether a plural, a past tense or a doubled letter stretches it. Longer words carry almost all the points.
- Shuffle the letters when you go dry. The same seven letters in a new order reliably shake loose words you stared straight past.
- The all-seven word exists in every puzzle by construction — the seven letters ARE a common word, scrambled. If you're stuck on it, that's the clue.
- You don't have to finish in one sitting. Found words save as you go, so you can leave and come back before the day resets.
