Word Rush hands everyone the same letters and starts a clock. Spell as many words as you can before it stops; longer words are worth more.
Unlike Word Race there's no single answer to find, so nobody gets shut out of a round. You accumulate, which makes it the more forgiving of the two and a better opener for a group with mixed word-game confidence.
The lobby also carries a Grid mode, which swaps the letter rack for a Boggle-style letter grid where tiles have to touch.

How to play Word Rush
The host picks the round count and mode
Three rounds is the default. The Mode picker chooses between the classic letter rack and the Grid hunt.
The letters appear
Everyone gets exactly the same rack or grid, so the round is a fair comparison.
Spell as many words as you can
Keep submitting for the whole round — there's no lock-in.
Longer words pay more
Length scaling is what stops the round becoming a race to type three-letter words.
The clock stops
The reveal shows everyone's haul and the words they found.

Each valid word banks points scaled by its length, so one long word can outweigh several short ones.
Invalid words cost nothing but the time spent typing them, so there's no reason to stop guessing.
Points accumulate across rounds and the biggest total wins.
Tips for winning Word Rush
- Bank short words early, then hunt long ones. A guaranteed pile beats an ambitious empty round.
- Work from a stem. Find one solid five-letter word and try adding S, ER and ING to it.
- In Grid mode, trace with your eye before your finger — tiles have to touch, and an illegal path wastes the attempt.
- Don't stop to admire a good word. The clock is the only thing that matters.
