How to play Black Sheep
The host picks the round count
Seven rounds is the default at about 25 seconds each.
Four options appear
Everyone sees the same four choices — a category, a food, a holiday, whatever the round throws up.
Pick the one you think nobody else will
Your pick is hidden until the reveal, so nobody can watch the room and dodge late.
The flock is revealed
The reveal groups everyone by what they picked, so you see instantly whether you were alone or crowded in with two friends.
Score by how alone you were
The smaller your group, the bigger the payout.

How scoring works
You bank 100 points for every player who did NOT share your pick. Being the only person on an option is the maximum score for the round; being one of two pays half as much.
If the whole room picks the same thing, nobody scores. That's the honest floor of a game about being different.
Points accumulate and the highest total wins. There's no penalty for herding — you simply earn less.
Tips for winning Black Sheep
- Don't pick the weird option automatically. Everyone else is also trying to be the black sheep, so the deliberately-odd choice gets crowded fast.
- The second-most-appealing option is often the safest. It's attractive enough that you'd defend it, and unattractive enough that the herd goes elsewhere.
- Track the room's habits. Some people reliably pick the food, some reliably pick the joke answer — once you know that you can steer around them.
- With only two players the maths is simple: just don't pick what they'd pick. With four it's a genuine puzzle.
