Render draws a picture in front of you one cell at a time and asks you to name it. The longer you wait, the more of the picture you get — and the less it's worth.
That trade-off is the whole game. Guessing off a handful of pixels is worth a fortune; waiting for the finished image is worth almost nothing. Wrong guesses are free, so the correct play is to guess far earlier than feels comfortable.

How to play Render
The host picks the round count
Eight rounds is the default at 30 seconds each.
A picture starts loading
Cells fill in a stable pseudo-random order, so the picture emerges in patches rather than top to bottom.
Guess as early as you dare
Type what you think it is. Wrong guesses cost nothing, so fire whenever you have a hunch.
Points decay as it renders
The earlier you're right, the bigger the score. Waiting for certainty is the expensive option.
The picture completes
The reveal shows the finished image and who called it first.

How scoring works
A correct guess banks points scaled by how little of the picture had loaded. Naming it at 20% loaded is worth many times naming it at 90%.
Wrong guesses are completely free — there's no penalty and no limit — so there is never a reason to hold back.
Points accumulate across rounds and the highest total wins.
Tips for winning Render
- Guess before you're sure. The scoring punishes certainty far more than it punishes being wrong.
- Look at the silhouette, not the detail. The outline resolves long before the interior does.
- Colour is a huge tell — a big patch of orange narrows the field immediately.
- Keep firing variations. If you think it's a boat, try 'ship' and 'sailboat' too; they cost nothing.
