Fuse is word hot-potato. A bomb with a burning fuse lands on you with a letter fragment attached — TRA, or ING, or NCH — and you have to type any real word containing it to pass the bomb on.
The cruelty is that the fuse never resets. It burns for the whole round regardless of how many times the bomb changes hands, so every pass is hotter than the last and the person who hesitates is the person holding it when it goes.

How to play Fuse
The host picks how many lives
Two lives each is the default; three makes a longer game. Lives are what you lose when the bomb blows, not points.
The bomb starts circling
It lands on one player with a letter fragment. Everyone else watches — and this is a game that's much better when you can watch people sweat.
Type a word containing the fragment
Any real word that contains those letters. TRA becomes 'extra'. The moment it's accepted, the bomb leaps to the next player with a new fragment.
The fuse keeps burning
It does not reset on a pass. Passing fast is the only thing that protects the people after you.
Lose a life when it blows
Whoever's holding it loses a life. Play continues until one Blip is left standing.

Fuse doesn't score in points — it's an elimination game. You start with a set number of lives and lose one each time the bomb blows in your hands.
The last player standing wins the match. Because the fuse burns continuously rather than per-turn, the game naturally accelerates toward an ending.
Nothing you do earns you lives back, so surviving early rounds cheaply is how you win late ones.
Tips for winning Fuse
- Type the first real word you think of. Fuse rewards speed absolutely and elegance not at all.
- Keep a couple of workhorse fragments in mind — most short fragments fit into a common word if you stop trying to be clever.
- Longer words aren't worth more. There's no bonus for showing off, and the extra typing time is real.
- Pass fast even when the fuse looks long. It doesn't reset, so time you burn is time you're stealing from your own next turn.
